Woke up and the weather was pish. Headed over to Cumbernauld to get a couple of bike things at Halfords and the weather was clearing nicely. Took Callum down to his first footie sesssion of the new season, in with the big boys now so it will take a bit of getting used to.

Wandered into Stenny , got a haircut and then passed the butchers where their chalk board was advertising pigeon breasts and pig cheeks... would be daft to pass that by....

There has a lot to be said for local produce. This lot will end up in beer or whisky, a fine end to a fine grain.

Callum managed 7 miles in 48 mins. Not bad considering his seat can come up an inch or so and his bike weighs about the same as mine. Reckon he'd be good for 15 with a good picnic stop and heaps of Haribo.
