White-throated Munia(Euodice malabarica)

A very pretty little White-throated Munia, also known as the Indian Silverbill! This estrildid Finch(small passerine birds of the Estrildidae family-Waxbills, Munias and allies) is a common resident breeding bird in the drier regions of the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent. They are apparently sensitive to cold and require warm, usually tropical habitats, so no wonder they like Muscat and Oman!
