Day 260- Cape tribulation

Chilled morning on the beach, spotted a couple of black tip reef sharks. I was lieing down and the next minute I was attacked...  by two puppies! Haha they were adorable. We were then picked up by Kaceys sister Jody, they are both as crackers as each other, there great! We stopped off at a Daintree boardwalk and she was telling us all about the trees and the different fruits, some really special trees in the rainforest,one of them was around before the dinosaurs. All of a sudden a tree kangaroo came down!! They are super rare!!! So rare I thought it was a myth along with the drop bear. But nope there it was! Super lucky to have seen one. We then drove along the coast to the most famous ice cream parlour in the area. 85 year old lady called Betty that makes her own ice cream, so many flavours! Including guiness flavour haha I had Daintree flavour, can honestly say the nicest ice cream iv ever had. We took it to Alexandra lookout, which you could see the whole of Cape, amazing. We put the bus on a ferry to get back across the river, as we got on we heard the guy day something to Jody and she squealed with laughter, we look and half a tree is stuck to the side of the bus. Haha so funny, she just said it was our camouflage. We then all got dropped off at our choosen destinations and me and Louisa went and had a $5 meal at our hostel! Bargain!
