Apologies

Sorry that this photograph is very poor but I just had to use it as today's blip.  Last night I went to see Cat Stevens (now known as Yusuf) at Newcastle City Hall.  I never got to see him when he was at the height of his fame in the 1960's and 1970's but I have always loved his music.

I was thrilled to hear that he was doing a tour so my friend and I got tickets and we were not disappointed.  His voice was still good and we had two and half hours of his wonderful music and tales of his time as a pop star, him contracting TB and ultimately becoming disillusioned with his life and seeking something else.

A fantastic night!  I've got Peace Train in my mind and can't stop singing it today.
