Thank you for your kind wishes re Himself - he is feeling much better, hasn't thrown up today and is now watching the rugby.

A sad day though for we have just lost Edie-Puss: sphinx-eyed, rat catching, leaf chasing, deep thinking, super chilled, loud purring, all round excellent feline. She is going to be much missed and I shouldn't be sad for she had a wonderful life. But I am.

Kitchen Cove looking a bit bleak, though Mr Crusoe was there recently.
