Snape Maltings

This is Snape Maltings and the reed beds on the River Alde in Snape, near Aldeburgh, where I took my granddaughter and her mum this afternoon (ahead of the Christmas rush).     
In 1967 the Maltings were converted into a concert hall by the composer Benjamin Britten, and is where the world famous Aldeburgh Festival is held each year.
