Doon to Troon

A lovely day-trip down to Ayrshire today to visit bestie Gill and of course there was the compulsory walk along the beach to blow the cobwebs away.

The wind coming in off the sea was Baltic, although the sea was Irish. No, that's wrong - it's the Firth of Clyde at that point, but anyway, the wind was freezing. Still enjoyed the walk.

Ailsa Craig was clearly visible today, as was the snow-covered Goat Fell on Arran, some of which you can see on the left of the blip.

The drive home in the dark and drizzle was unpleasant, but it was worth the effort.
