Sand sculptures

Well we have arrived at Las Palmas in the Grand Canaria.  I had nightmare that World War 3 had started and I could hear the bombing of a nearby city. Woke to find that the noise was  the sea lashing against the port hole because we are on deck 1.
Earlier our two cabin stewards, Ahmed from Cairo and Alina from the Ukraine had discussed politics briefly with us.
Without prompting they both said they were very worried about the world situation now Trump and Putin are in control.
 

The giant san-sculptures long the beach in Las Palmas would not be out of place in any major international art gallery. But these artists operate outwith the canon of the contemporary art world and their work goes unrecognized by the art world.  But tourists love their work.
