Fashion Daaaarling

A daytrip down to London with MarkH and Chris Andrews to take part in a day of fashion and portraiture photography lead by the very likeable and exceedingly capable Dan Kennedy.

We were treated to two great models who had full make up, hair and styling. Dan had his assistant on hand to set up lighting and generally make sure the day ran well.

It was really interesting, and a lot of things were learned, many of which blew away a lot of the guff about setting lights up and making it sound more technical than it really is. Dan showed how he built up a lighting set-up and chased what he was looking for rather than sticking to formulas.

It was a good day out.
