Hike

Crazy busy. Crazy day.
The Christmas church fayre was on which Mrs Tuttle and her sister helped out with the cake stall. Tuttle jnr also helped out. I had the job of doing the food shopping, fitting the bathroom unit and picking up my mother in law from her home so she could attend the fayre.
Tuttle jnr and myself headed home to get him sorted for the scout hike. Got to the drop off point in time despite taking the city route (doh, on a Saturday?). Anyway Tuttle Jnr's patrol was due to go last which ment waiting in weather colder than "raisins for bollocks cold"! Managed to get some pics of the scouts in catalogue pose mode and this one made me laugh. Tuttle jnr is on the right. Pure cheese.
Once safely off I drove back to the church (dual carriageway this time) to help tidy up. Almost had a heart attack when I saw our car in the middle of the car park. It had rolled back! Luckily nobody was hurt nor any car damage. Electronic handbrakes, pah!
we headed off to my father in law's to help him out with his tea. He was discharged from hospital on Thursday. He was in good spirits as we chatted over the table.
A curry for me and Mrs Tuttle as we wait anxiously for Tuttle jnr to arrive in one piece at the scout HQ......
..... Should've arrived at 9pm. It's now ten o'clock as I type........
