Bittersweet day
Today we met brother in law A up St Ives where he had prepared a plot to bury Joe's ashes. I had been putting this off for some time - a bittersweet moment - the last thing I could do for him. A had planted a young oak tree, and golfing friends had bought a plaque mounted on wood which said " In fond memory. With love and affection from family and friends". The small memorial wood has beautiful views across the valley, and is at the side of he golf course he loved so much. My blip is not great quality due to lights in the room, but is a painting a fellow golfer gave Joe for his retirement - the figure at the side of the course is supposed to be Joe. I thought it appropriate for today.
