I saw the light

Alex and I went to a John Muir Trust lecture this evening, in the Royal College of Physicians. It was given by a man called Al Humphreys, who was as engaging, enthusiastic, funny and self-deprecating as you can imagine anyone being. Alex and I agreed that these are all fabulous and highly attractive qualities in a man, so we found ourselves hanging onto every word. He'd had a number of adventures across the world but was also encouraging of people having what he termed "micro-adventures" in their local area. So, after his talk Alex and I went and had some micro-adventures which were quite entertaining. Spotted this window in St Stephens when we were almost back at her house. Scaffolded and protected, the window still shone out into the darkness.
