Serendipity

Tank!

As well as Sculthorpe Moor there is one other place I have to visit when we go to Norfolk. Some of you might recognise this as it's the beach at Titchwell. It always fascinates me though that the birders get to the end of the beach track where the dunes start and just stop, all in a congregation and get their scopes out and just stop there.

If you walk just a few hundred metres to the left or right you have this wonderful expanse of north Norfolk beach pretty much to yourself. I'm not a birder or expert in any sense of the word so there must be a reason why everyone stops at the end of the path but it always strikes me as odd.

Good for me though as it seems as though I have the place to myself by going a bit further away. This time I hunkered down behind the dunes with my flask of coffee and this spectacular view.
