The Zipper
Dinner and a movie: sounds like date night, and I guess it was.
First, we saw Moonlight at the Hollywood theater. An excellent, though pretty difficult movie, about three periods in the life of a kid growing up in poverty in Miami.
Then we found something to eat at The Zipper, an indoor food court place on Sandy and 28th I first heard about when nhc pointed it out during a walk a few weeks back. The place has four restaurants, a bar, shared indoor/outdoor seating and a very busy late-night nail salon called Finger Bang.
We topped the evening off with a secret occasional indulgence of a small ice cream cone from Burgerville (2 for $1.50) eaten while watching traffic from the parking lot.
