The Folks Who Live On the Hill

Storm Angus was blowing hard last night and as I walked into the kitchen there was just one amazing lightning bolt which lit up the whole sky in a crazy zig-zag pattern. I wondered if it might happen again but no, just the one.

We were going down to the Cockhaven for Sunday lunch but took a little constitutional walk above the village before walking down. This is Higher Radway farmhouse which looks over the village. I often think it looks good on the hill but I've not taken a picture before that actually looks right. I finally seem to have found a good viewpoint. I had a letterbox crop in mind when I took it.
