Out of season?

It seems that strawberries are now never out of season. I remember when we had English strawberries for a few weeks in early summer, and when they finished we had raspberries. Now we can have strawberries all year round. These were Dutch and very tasty and made a delicious dessert after our Sunday roast pork.
The promised gale didn't reach this far inland, but we have had a dark dreary day with a stiff breeze. Well, it is November.
