Julemarked

This weekend a Christmas market has sprung up on Fredriksten. The fortress always provides a spectacular setting for any occasion and this is no exception. In the afternoon/evening the annual Gubbefest took place. This is a party for all male members of the club over 18. We walked up to Høyås and sat by a campfire for 3 hours, before moving to the sauna and a meal in the club hut. Really good fun and interesting to learn from the really elderly members of the club who you don't see very often.
