A bit blowy

Storm Angus blew through last night. What a night! I couldn't sleep for fear of damage to the house. It was so loud and combined with the hail, there wasn't much chance of sleeping. This morning, the devastation was evident. Trees down across the island, a trampoline blown over on to a roof and then ripped to shreds, hedge veg stalls blown over, boats ripped from their moorings and tents flattened. Thankfully no one was hurt but we will be counting the cost for a while to come.
