ABC of me follows tomorrow



So this morning after himself and I struggled up for the impossible hour of eleven; i took myself around to see this amazing lady for a moment or two to wish her happy birthday... the celebration was yesterday but i hadn't finished the scarf i was making for her..

I'm Going to tell you something now which you won't believe....

Mrs Douneghey is ONE HUNDRED YEARS OLD!!!

I saw her birthday card from the Queen and a telegram from Buckingham Palace -and so many, many cards all with 100 on the front - and all her beautiful flowers!  She is a much loved and adored lady!

And as i left the house I considered,  Claudia celebrated her 50th today and  if she and I live as long as Mrs Douneghey we have got as long as we have had, all over again!!

That is a complete and utter wonder and I left with a skip in my step thinking of all the amazing times ahead!
