More Farming Fun

After our visit to see the tractors and combine last weekend, Oliver was keen to go again (and again, and again!).

We had to pop over to the farm anyway to drop round a couple of things, and he plays so well with his friend from school. The space they have to tear around in does help. They said they would probably have the combine out on the fields in the afternoon, and Oliver was keen to go back.

After asking again to see the combine (and me saying we are probablyu becoming a nuisance) we went for a walk, which in itself was very nice. Up through a paddock (which incorporates a small wood, and a dilapidated orchard), and along field sides. Up to the field they were combining. Had a chat whilst the combine was combining, a cold drink and some home made biscuits and then headed home. A nice quiet day.
