Very exacting standards

Lyra is going through a phase where the only nightwear she will don is Disney Princess nighties.

So I bought a couple more to go with her original one. Only it turns out said nightie must have short sleeves. So I bought another - but it only had one Princess on and it should have had three.

Finally, I found a perfect nightie. Short sleeves, three princesses. Delighted, I gave it to Lyra whose face was a picture of joy. She hurriedly put it on and promptly burst into tears.

It seems that the short sleeves weren't short enough.

Sigh.

Luckily, the girls' nanny Kasia is a dab hand with a needle so she rectified things and Lyra is now snoozing very happily in a nightie which meets her exacting standards.
