OMG.Yes It is real, and it is true , I had my hands on a real genuine Bronze Olympic medal today.( Team eventing bronze medal).
A lot of my weekends are spent helping out at Horse trials. Today Caroline Powell one of New Zealands top riders was taking part at an event where I was working. As we know her to talk to ( top riders bring their younger horses through the ranks and are often at smallish shows local to where they live and so you get to know them a bit) we asked to see her medal and she duly obliiged.
Amazing.A once in a life time thing for me I imagine.Will be one happy bunny for a few days now.
