Saturday: Garrya elliptica

A little treat for myself in the form of a replacement plant for one which died during the winter. I've seen it full grown in gardens I've visited and it's very unusual - Garrya elliptica - fingers crossed for its survival ...
Weather ok and perfect for a bit more tidying up in the garden - collected a few buckets of leaves for composting.
Washing dried well outdoors.
