New glasses!

I can now see the telly, so as a treat to myself I bought one of those cast devices in order to enjoy your sumptuous imagery, bon mots and witty epithets all larger than life on the telly box.

The device comes with no instruction other than plug it in and connect to the network. How hard could it be?

Well an hour and twenty minutes of shouting at it later I finally have 48" of wall to wall blip (and a swear box full enough for a few Netflix movies).
