Lone Tree at Badbury Rings

Boy, did it rain this morning! I was happily settled drinking coffee with my Monday friends but the heavens really opened outside! On my way home, it was still raining but it gradually eased and I pulled over to take this shot towards Badbury Rings (an Iron Age hill fort). I don't think I've noticed this tree before but it has rather a beautiful shape! I think I'll be back! I've added two black & white versions in 'extras' because, as you know, I've grown rather fond of b&w....  :)
