Swanage: the lull before the next storm?

On Saturday night storm Angus managed to flood buildings at the bottom end of High Street and damage the Swanage sea wall.

The red barrier in the middle of this photo is the site of the damage -which does not appear to be serious - to the wall.  It is here that the sea defences are approximately V-shaped and particularly vulnerable because waves coming from two directions are funnelled to hit the wall simultaneously.
