Icy owl

A new bird for me , this Icy owl is a beautiful carving on a sign on the road to the bird hide.
Very cold again today but as soon as the sun hit the frost it melted quickly however the sun does nt stay up for long and there's lots of areas that remain in the shade. This road always seems to be cold and has laying snow and ice longer than anywhere else locally. So pretty with ice covered leaves and berries.
At Udale bay we watched hundreds of tiny waders flying up making a wonderful display. A farmer was gathering his sheep in the field opposite, the roof on the Kirk is having slates put on and several herons had gathered on the grass banks.
