#IWillWeek - the launch

To #ThatLondon and the House of Commons for the launch of #IWillWeek - celebrating all the incredible social action and volunteering undertaken by young people across the UK.

There are hundreds of events taking place - large and small - during the week and it was great to be with the new #IWill Young Ambassadors - including those from Scotland - to get the party started!

It was also an almost complete reunion of the gang of awesome people I was in the USA with earlier in the year on the study visit to explore volunteerism - so it was such a joy to see them again. Including this exceptional young man Saeed - who is now an #IWill Trustee - who gave a superb speech about how he got involved in social action.

A catch-up dinner with the gang afterwards and the whole world was put to rights, if only for a wee while...x
