Service Book

My Grandad's service book.

I have this to accompany the medals he was awarded during and after his service in the army. We found this in my nan's sheltered accommodation when we cleared it out after she passed away earlier this year.

I do love old documents and often wonder how long we will be creating physical paper certificates and such like. We are losing it all to the digital age which is a lot less fun in my opinion. 

Save the planet with digital copies they say but I trust paper lasting longer than a harddrive.

This document reminded me I still need to get these beauties framed.
