Managed to avoid the floods

This is where the river which normally flows under the bridge has been over the road and left a small lake.

Luckily I did't have to go through it.

Looks like its been a awful time for lots of people today especially those trying to travel.

I had to get out and clear the standing water from a flat roof at Mum and Dad's house - it was just starting to find a way into the house. Leaves cleared - water brushes away. Even if there is more rain overnight it will at least be running off the roof
