Hat Parade to Honor St. Catherine of Alexandria

November 24 or 25 is the day of honoring St. Catherine of Alexandria. Since those dates conflict with Thanksgiving the a group of New Orleaniens poured Champagne and wore their fancy hats in preparation for a parade.

I happened upon them, as one often does in New Orleans, by simply turning the corner of St. Charles Avenue after grocery shopping. What a joy after the hell of our Presidential election.
