Resting.....

.....high up in the maple amongst the shades of green, she quietly dried her new wings. Pretty and dainty she lingered for over half an hour before fluttering through my garden to embark on one big new adventure.

Lovely to see the monarch's returning as the weather warms, especially on such a gorgeous spring day. Yes the warm weather has returned at long last, 26C, it will be another night of tea under the umbrella.

Warm thanks for all of your kind words, stars and hearts for yesterday's rhododendron, I'm delighted you all enjoyed it.

My eyes a little better today, but not good enough for the macro lens and this lovely lady was near the top of my maple, so the long lens was extra handy.
