Sorrow and questioning

My soul aches. Five little children died this afternoon here in Chattanooga in a single vehicle school bus accident only blocks from my home.

Another child died after being taken to the hospital. More than a dozen additional children are hospitalized tonight. The bus riders ranged from kindergarteners to fifth grade, that's 5 to 10 years old.

As of this note, the cause of the accident is not known publicly. The bus was on its normal afternoon route from Woodmore Elementary School. It was at the intersection of Talley Road and Howard.

Somehow, the driver apparently lost control. The bus flipped onto its side around a tree, almost splitting the bus into two pieces. Most of the children were trapped in the wreckage. First responders worked for more than two hours to remove the dead and injured.

The bus driver experienced only minor injuries and police say the driver is cooperating with the investigation into the Why.

WHY?

But then too , why Aleppo?
