(art break)

When packing up for our Canada trip I threw in a couple of DVDs along with some art supplies. This afternoon I sat down, comfy in the cottage while it was blowing outside and popped the Zen Breakthrough DVD in my laptop. This DVD is by my instructor Bill Buchman. I wanted to view it again for inspiration and reinforcement of what I learned with him this winter. It's about contemporary experimental art made with sumi-e brushes, reed pens and mixed media. He includes lots of great tips and it comes highly recommended. Watching this is very similar to being in one of Bill's classes!

I so enjoyed watching Bill demonstrate his artistry again and plan to try some of his mixed media exercises again soon.
