Welcome!

On our way out of town today we stopped at one of the local military surplus stores, Andy and Bax. When you walk through the door, you enter a surreal world - part survivalist, part funk, part cartoon, floor to ceiling. I love the grittiness of it.

We found the portable loo we were looking for, grabbed takeout Lebanese food from Nicholas next door and hit the road. Tonight we're in Olympia (Washington) visiting with family. Tomorrow we'll venture further north and meet up with more family. And a mini-blipmeet or two with Pilpo and LocalFoodLover and Artist Annie. I may not be commenting much this week.
