The New Bridge

Designed by Robert Stevenson and built between 1829–32 at a cost of about £17,000 this five span bridge now carries the A9 over the river. It's unusual to see it with no traffic so it is today's blip. I'm doing some writing today and it is going very slowly so I really appreciated a lunchtime walk (to be truthful it was at round about 11:00am) up the Gowan Hill with the dog. Another gorgeous day.
