La gripe

In the grip of la gripe. Hot water with honey and fresh lemon, sadly without the brandy as I'm taking all sorts of meds to suppress the aches and pains. When will this beastly cold go away? Nearly a week now, and according to the old adage, a cold, if treated, will last a week, but untreated will hang around for 7 days.
