Grass and Weeds
Grass and weeds have their functions, too. If we take the time to look, they have a beauty of their own. It reminds us that, in life, good things can come of the every day hard work and can also come of difficulties. This thinking could be applied to relationships, work, family, and other things, also.
On the topic, I also saw a good quote that one of my friends had on Facebook today; "The grass is not greener on the other side. The grass is greener where you water it the most!" I think that is so logical and excellent. It really hits home for me right now with certain situations. I wish that I could help other people see it that way, also. Some dreams take effort, attention, respect, perseverance, and whole-heartedness to achieve. Perhaps, something can become a major dream or goal that will flourish, because priority is given to it, rather than always looking for something else. If not, or if other things are repeatedly favoured, then something that could have been so wonderful won't flourish. It's what you put into things, sometimes, that makes them work. Sometimes you have something so excellent ready for you that just needs your love, whether it be grass or a rose.
Onto a less introspective topic, today was a cloudy day with a big temperature inversion. It felt so much cooler and...heavy, if that makes sense. I guess that the plants need it, but I hope this isn't the end of summer weather.
