Beaufort Castle...

was the home of the Clan Fraser from 13th century, but was sold by Lord Lovat in 1994 to Anne Gloag, the Stagecoach owner.
Today, there was no frost and wet sleet and rain cleared to give a reasonable day for walking. The snow can still be seen here, at about 200m. However, being November, it never seemed to get light and the contrast between dark land and light sky was marked.
