Back Blip from Akaora

I had a good trip over to Akaora without too much traffic. It was a lovely warm day.

I was having my lunch when I noticed something out of the window..it was a Quail sitting on the seat. I got the shot, Top Left by taking it through the window. When I went to get a closer shot it jumped off onto the lawn. I just managed to get a shot outside before it took off. There were two of them.

My veggie garden sure has shot up since I was last there. The Broad Beans were a size I like and tasted so good raw in my salads. I don't like them at all when they get older.
