Hubby...

An evening at Electric Circus, spent in the company of Rick Redbeard and RM Hubbert (Hubby). Neither are know for their upbeat tunes, but the banter from both had us in stitches.

This was my second time of seeing Rick, and 5th or 6th time of seeing Hubby, who is one of my favourite folk to see live. He was telling us that he and Aidan Moffat are in the middle of recording an album together- which will be great to hear.

If you've not heard Hubby's music, give it a listen.
Some are instrumental, some he sings on, and others he collaborates with other musicians, and they sing - such as his last album, Telling the Trees, on which he collaborated with (mainly) Scottish female artists.

A grand night.
