NE 7th Ave at NE Morris

An impromptu walk and lunch with a friend today.  And a visit to the wishing tree.  We also tried out a new restaurant (Promise Land) which was very good.  It was nice to spend a few hours away from the tedious business of the day to have some good conversation, fresh air and food.

Okay, so I know I've blipped the wishing tree before on a couple of occasions but today I got to take someone who'd never seen it before and it also falls nicely into my Street Corner Series.  Some additional pictures of some of the wishes.  The little bag that holds the pens and blank tags for writing wishes on was empty so some people had written on the leaves.
