DELICIOUS!
I had something in mind for Wide Angle Wednesday but needed to go into town early so thought I would sort out my Blip when I got home.
However, before I started shopping and because I hadn't had any breakfast, I went into Coffee #1, my favourite coffee shop in our town centre, where I saw a little Portuguese custard tart sitting on the counter and it called out "Eat me, Eat me!" So as HarlingDarling said yesterday that they were some of the "nicest molecules" she had eaten, I thought it would be rude not to try one and she was absolutely right!
I asked Cleo, the young lady who served me, if she would put a pretty pattern on my cappuccino, which she was happy to do, and also give me a tart that looked good. When she raised her eyebrows, I explained about Blip and said that I wanted to take a photograph of my coffee and the tart. She probably thought I was a little loopy, but that doesn't bother me any longer! The bonus was the lovely jug of fresh flowers that are always on the table in this particular café.
This little tart wasn't fancily dressed but boy, was it delicious, so thank you to my Blip friend for recommending them - however I need to be careful that this doesn't become a habit!!
I do think that "a little bit of what you fancy does you good" and biting into an apple wouldn't have the same effect but I must be careful otherwise I will be putting on weight before Christmas and that would never do!

But a little chocolate
(or a Portuguese custard tart)
now and then
doesn't hurt.”
