Grand Hotel

The peanut and I are in Amsterdam to celebrate her birthday. The hotel we're staying in sent up two little cakes and two red balloons as s birthday treat!

I thought that was a very nice touch :)

Tomorrow we're going to the Van Gogh museum and are so looking forward to that. It's quite balmy here at 11C, whereas it was -1C when I left home this morning....

We've had a bit of a wander around this evening - I'm looking forward to seeing the lovely canalside houses in daylight tomorrow.
