Night Fever

This fever needs to end soon as I'm running out of fever related blip titles!
The day didn't start well when I stupidly gave Asha a honey & lemon drink...moments later it all came out...poor kid was so shocked! Although at points her temperature has been super high, there have been definite bright spots of her seeming a bit better...she ate lunch and is currently cool to touch... I read The Magic Faraway Tree to her in bed this afternoon, suddenly realised her breathing was very even & that she'd dropped off - she's still asleep now! Hoping a good long sleep will see her MUCH better by the morning. This is no fun.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Asha *seeming* to be turning a corner.
2) Rain...it's been so lovely to listen to today.
3) Being able to cuddle Asha through all this nastiness.
