Wideangle Wednesday: Afternoon Light, Scarborough

We had a lovely lunchtime, as we met up with some very longstanding friends in a pub in Seamer Village. MrsC has known Judy since university days, and she was bridesmaid at our wedding 35 years ago. They live a few miles south of Seamer; Hubby Peter has been a lollipop man since he retired 8 years ago. In case the term isn't known outside the UK, a lollipop man is a school crossing warden, named for the lollipop-like hand-held STOP sign which they carry - so he had to get back for school finishing time. That meant we had some time to spare in the afternoon so we went into Scarborough to look for a blip and do a bit of Christmas shopping.

The golden-hour light was rather lovely when we had a stroll on the beach, hence today's blip.
