Morning mist

It was a glorious morning.  Just a bit of low lying mist, lovely clouds and blue sky.

I took a number of photos, and all but this one have visible splodges on them.  I had noticed them before, and cleaned the lens with no improvement, so I fear it must be some dust on the sensor.  I presume the splodges are on this picture also, just disguised by the background better.  This is my little Sony compact camera. 

I Googled "cleaning the sensor" for this camera, and found a film on YouTube.  It all looks very fiddly, but reasonably straightforward, so I think we will have a go - taking it to a camera repair shop is likely to cost more than the camera is worth.
