Saturday

My daughter and I stayed in a guest suite while visiting Ann, and as we left her this evening, this was the view of the Clubhouse as we approached it. The bar was open and some very smartly dressed residents were enjoying their Saturday evening.
This retirement community offers a golf course, pool, libraries, a superb formal dining room, and a variety of interesting activities and trips out every day!
However, we spent the day reminiscing and chatting, and had a little shopping expedition with one of Ann's friends. It is important to keep in a stock of cosmetics even when you are 95!
We dined in a smaller dining room near Ann's apartment today, and had a stroll over to the rose garden. Yesterday it was 75 degrees Fahrenheit but today it was much cooler, although the sun shone from a very blue sky!
