WildWednesday: American Wigeons

There are two places where I have seen wigeons year around but I can't get close to either of the ponds.  This was taken standing among the cattails just before the ground got too mushy.  I don't know what the green stuff is but they seem to like it as there were several ducks 'grazing' in it.  Thanks to Cailleach for hosting Wild Wednesdays!

My extra shows my grandmother's citrus juicer, my mystery macro from yesterday.  When I was a child in California we had an orange tree that was always abundant.  I still have a vision of my grandma making fresh orange juice for us every morning.  :-)
