An early start, leaving the ferry in Aberdeen at 6.45am; a beautiful drive south to Glasgow, past vibrant trees and frosted fields bathed in glorious golden light; an afternoon with these lovelies, plus a walk home from school with the one who's recently become a big sister (who would only let me take a photo of the back of her head); an evening of catching up and Chinese takeaway with clan middleman. Smashing.
